Brain Tumor Testimonial (2009)
Patient: Yue
Age: 4 yrs old
From: Kuala Lumpur

(4 Years 7 Months, Feb 2010)
Condition: Ependymoma of Left 4th Ventricle
Before Cytotron Treatment

(1 Year 9 Months, April 2008)
* Yue was healthy up to 1 Year 11 months old (June 2008)
* Fell down in June 2008 and started having bouts of vomiting (resolved after treatment)
* (July 2008) started having fits and was admitted to medical centre; MRI scanning shows a 5cm tumour in the posterior fossa of the brain; Diagnosed of Ependymoma of Left 4th Ventricle and subsequently was operated on.
* After operation she was still able to talk and move about independently as a 2 years old girl.
* (March 2009) Follow-up and repeated MRI revealed the tumour has re-grown 1.6cm.
* (April 2009) Developed signs and symptoms of increased intracranial pressure; MRI showed the tumour size had increased to 2.3cm; Insertion of A-V shunt was conducted to reduce the pressure.
* Unfortunately, she lost her ability to talk after the above procedure.
* (May 2009) Second surgery performed to remove the tumour.
* (June 2009) Repeated MRI still showed a tumour mass measuring around 1.8cm;Now she was not able to talk, became unbalanced and could not stand or sit straight; probably was also in pain, as she cried every night and was not able to sleep.
Our Doctor's Examination
* Vital sign stable with slight pallor
* Neuromuscular examination: weakness in right upper and lower limbs with average power of 3 and associated with unbalanced; unable to stand without support and cannot walk even 2 steps without falling; Hardly any movement of the right side.
* Could not pronounce any meaningful words; poor coordination
* Plan of Treatment: To improve and enhance immunity; Target the lesion using RFQMR (Cytotron); Proper and balance diet.
After Cytotron Treatment

(19 August 2009)
Pre Treatment Assessment:
*
MRI was conducted on 15.7.2009 - Residual tumour measures approximately 1.7 x 1.6 x 2.3cm
Progress During Treatment:
*
Day 1 - Right side no strength and hardly any movement of the right limbs; Could not walk and sit straight.
* Day 9 - Regained some strength; Her mother said she showed some temper; Started moving the right upper and lower limb; Coordination’s of movement still poor; No more crying at night.
* Day 20 - Happier and started smiling; Able to sit straight by herself; Able to use her right hand to flip books.
* Day 29 - Started to form sound words; Able to turn her body around to pick up things; Able to move all limbs with confidence and able to coordinate movement of the right upper limb better.
Post Treatment Assessment:
* Generally, her condition showed significant improvement; Able to vocalize with short sentences and with fair clarity; Eye contact was good; Using both hand to play toys; Able to lift right hand above shoulder level and sit unsupported; Able to stand with holding on furniture.
* (Dec 2009) Repeat MRI showed a tumour size of 1.4 x 1.4 x 2.4cm, reduced only slightly. What was significant was the iso-signal to normal brain and does not enhance (meaning inactivity of the tumor).
Brain Tumor Testimonial (2007)
Patient: Ying Ying
Age: 8 yrs old
From: Ipoh

Condition: Glioblastoma, Left Thalamic Tumor
Before Cytotron Treatment
* Tumor Detected to be 3 cm in 2006 July/August when Ying Ying was 6 years old;Doctor recommended surgery to remove tumor
*
Due to the high risks involved and her young age, Ying's father decided not to take the surgery option; Instead for about one year, Ying went through an entire course of chinese traditional medicine (as much as 40 pills ech day); condition seemed to improve initially (in terms of vitality and energy)
* One year after taking traditional chinese medicine in August 2007, Ying's condition deteriorated drastically (with symptoms such as loss of energy, loss of coordination, slurring in speech, etc) and MRI showed tumor had grown to 4cm; Ying's father immediately decided to stop giving her traditional chinese medicine
* Ying's condition
deteriorated further with loss of vision and inability to walk around November 2007
* In November 2007, MRI showed tumor had grown to 5cm within 4 months (August to November) and fluid had been building up in her brain, resulting in excessive pressure that 'killed' the optic nerves, thereby causing the loss of Ying's eyesight.
*
A 'shunt' was then implanted to divert the water from the brain in order to relieve the high pressure build-up in Ying's brain.
* Ying underwent a 28-day 1-hour-each-day Cytotron Therapy from 19th December 2007 to 13th January 2008.
After Cytotron Treatment
* In just one week into Cytotron Therapy, Ying's condition improved (energy level and alertness)
* Upon finishing her Cytotron therapy, Ying has been gradually recovering and regaining her energy, vitality, appetite, and even her ability to walk
* Ying did MRI on 18th December 2007 and took another MRI on 3rd April 2008 (about 3 months after Cytotron Therapy) and the results were amazing (shown below)
Ying Ying's MRI Comparison (Before and After Cytotron Therapy)

(Top, Before Cytotron Therapy): The white greyish mass in the centre of Ying's brain MRI indicates the existence of tumor
(Below; After Cytotron Therapy): The tumor has changed: (1st) Virtually no further growth of the tumor (in other words, tumor growth has virtually stopped, even 3 months after Cytotron Therapy as compared to the growth before Cytotron treatment from 4cm to 5cm in 4 months; (2nd) Tumor color has changed (meaning tumor cells are beginning to vanish and disappearing while healthy cells are growing back).
